Season Scheduler
Plan the whole season, without the conflicts
Add your teams, season dates and tournament weekends, then schedule games with the warnings a coach actually needs: back-to-back games at different fields, tight turnarounds and short rest.
What it does
Every game, two views
A day-by-day list and a monthly calendar, color-coded by team. Drag a game to move it.
Conflicts flagged
Games under two hours apart at different fields, tight turnarounds and rest under your minimum are called out right away.
Smart open dates
Suggested Saturdays and Sundays for each team, sorted from well rested to busy, with tournament weekends left out.

Backups
Backing up your schedule
The free scheduler saves your schedule only in the browser on your device. Nothing is stored on our servers, so a backup file is how you keep a safe copy and move your schedule to another phone or computer. Everything below is in the scheduler under Backup & restore (on a phone, tap More first).
What a backup is
A small file named like gqs-season-schedule-2026-10-26.json with your teams, season dates, rest days, games and tournaments. It doesn’t include anything about you, and only the scheduler can read it back in.
When to back up
- After you add or change several games
- Before you switch phones, reset a device or clear your browser’s history
- Whenever the scheduler reminds you (it does after about two weeks of changes)
Download a backup
- Open the scheduler and choose Backup & restore.
- Tap Download backup.
- Find the file: on an iPhone it’s in the Files app under Downloads; on Android and computers it’s in Downloads.
- Keep a copy somewhere safe: email it to yourself, or save it to iCloud Drive or Google Drive.
Restore a backup
- Open Backup & restore (on a new device, tap I have a backup file on the welcome screen).
- Under Restore from a backup, choose your backup file.
- Check what the file contains (teams, games and tournaments), then tap Replace.
Restoring replaces everything currently in that browser. If there’s a schedule there you want to keep, download a backup of it first.
Moving to a new phone or computer
- On the old device, download a backup.
- Send the file to the new device: email, AirDrop, iCloud Drive or Google Drive.
- On the new device, open app.gqsoccer.com and restore the file.
- Check your games, then download a fresh backup on the new device.
Questions
Do I need an account?
No. The free scheduler works right away and saves your schedule in the browser on your device. Nothing is sent to us.
Will my schedule be there next time?
Yes, on the same device and browser. Browsers can clear saved data (for example, if you clear your history), so download a backup now and then from Backup & restore. On a phone, add the scheduler to your home screen for the most reliable storage.
How do I move my schedule to another device?
Download a backup on the first device, send the file to yourself, then restore it on the other one. The steps are under Backing up your schedule, above. Pro will keep devices in sync automatically.
Does it work without internet?
After your first visit, yes. It opens and saves offline, which helps at fields with poor signal.
What will Pro cost?
Pricing will be announced when Pro opens, and it will be priced per season. Join the waitlist to hear first. The free scheduler stays free.
